The Nissan Owner First Award of Excellence is the highest award presented to dealers by Nissan North America, and very few are issued in a given year. It recognizes only Nissan's top Dealers from across the nation, based upon feedback received from the customers themselves. (Rather like the "feedback" you see on eBay- a way for you to know how happy people have been who have done business here in the past.)
This award recognizes those dealerships which are able to provide customers with a truly outstanding ownership experience, from the showroom through every aspect of owning a vehicle. It's a very prestigious award, one which is quite difficult to achieve.
Dealerships are measured on a multitude of criteria including Nissan's Owner First customer survey, which is sent to each customer following the purchase of a new Nissan vehicle or service on their current Nissan. These customer satisfaction surveys are very thorough, including questions you might not even think of. (For example, it determines whether the customers felt they were treated with respect, whether they felt service work was completed in a timely manner- and even questions about how clean the dealership seemed to the customer.)
Based upon a host of rigid criteria including these satisfaction surveys, Nissan awards only a handful of Owner First Awards across the entire United States. And Marlboro Nissan is the only dealership in all of Massachusetts with the 2006 Nissan Owner First Award. (In fact, there is only one other dealership with this award in all of New England.)
