When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Pathfinder will tow your boat for a day on Massachusetts Bay with its 6,000-lb. towing capacity1. When it comes to traction control, the Pathfinder will have selectable driving modes – Auto Mode monitors the road and adjusts the power between the front and rear wheels. Choosing 2WD gives you maximum efficiency, while 4WD Lock Mode is ideal for rough terrain. And, for when winter strikes and coats I-495 with snow and ice, the available All-Mode 4X4-i 4WD system gives you optimum traction.
There will certainly be no shortage of technology features inside the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder coming soon in Marlboro, MA. One of the most exciting will be the standard Tri-Zone Entertainment System2. This includes the 8-inch touchscreen atop the center stack and the dual 8-inch monitors mounted on the back of the front seat headrests, which are perfect when your little ones want to watch a movie, play a video game, or use their laptop. The 8-inch display in front can be equipped with the navigation system3, which will include traffic and weather updates from SiriusXM® Traffic and Travel Link4. Bluetooth® audio streaming5 will be standard, as well as the Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System5. These exciting tech advancements transcend into safety features, too. The Around View® Monitor6 is back for the new model year, which will provide you with a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the 2017 Pathfinder to assist with parallel parking in downtown Boston or reversing from a snug spot at Hannaford Supermarket. There will also be Intelligent Safety Shield Technologies working together to ensure you’re aware of your surroundings, including Forward Emergency Braking7, the Blind Spot Warning8, Rear Cross Traffic Alert9, and more.
The Nissan Pathfinder will be loaded with comfort and versatility, too. It will have three rows of seating for seven passengers, and the second row can slide over five inches upward for easy access to the seats in the third row. When both rows are folded flat, you’ll have a commodious 79.8 cubic ft. of space10 at your disposal. There will even be an available Motion Activated Liftgate, which opens when you kick your foot under the rear bumper. For superior comfort, the Pathfinder will come standard with the Tri-Zone Climate Control System, while the front seats can come heated and cooled for comfort no matter the season.
